Beautiful Day at Tices Shoal on 8/16/25

On August 16, 2025, the sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and the waves were gently lapping at the shore. It was a picture-perfect day at Tices Shoal, and we couldn't have been happier to be there.

What's the Catch of the Day?

We arrived at Tices Shoal mid day with a cooler full of snacks. The goal? To catch the excitement of being at Tices with all the wonderful people around.

Sun, Sand, and Seashells

After a few hours of we decided to take a break and explore the sandy shores of Tices Shoal. Armed with a bucket and a keen eye, they set out to find the most beautiful seashells the shore had to offer.

Crab Walks and Warm Water

As the day wore on, we stumbled upon a family of crabs doing their sideways dance across the sand. Intrigued, we decided to join in on the fun, attempting our best crab walk (spoiler alert: it wasn't very convincing).

Sunset Serenade

As the sun began its descent towards the horizon, painting the sky in hues of pink and orange, we settled down on a cozy blanket to watch the sunset. The sound of the waves, the cry of seagulls, and the gentle rustle of the wind through the dune grass created a symphony of nature that was truly awe-inspiring.

Reflections on a Perfect Day

As the stars began to twinkle in the night sky, we couldn't help but feel grateful for the beautiful day we had experienced at Tices Shoal. It was a day filled with laughter, adventure, and the simple joys of being in nature.

And as we packed up our belongings and headed home, we knew that we would always carry the memories of that day with us, like treasures tucked away in a seashell.
